Stella was featured in an article in the February issue of Architectural Digest that addresses the resurgence of interest in collecting quilts. The article illustrates a selection of quilts from Stella's collection and speaks to the history of quilts; some of her collecting experiences; some specialty categories and collecting pointers.

Stella invited attendees of the DAR Museum symposium "Eye on Elegance" and the DAR Quilt Seminar "Eye Opening: New Research on Early Quilts of Maryland and Virginia" to visit before and after the March 14, 2015 seminar and share her enthusiasm at her quilt showroom in Darnestown Maryland. Stella attended the opening of the extraordinary exhibit "Infinite Variety: Three Centuries of Red and White Quilts" in New York as covered in Red and White and Sewn All Over by Lizzie Simon in the Wall Street Journal.
