Fashionable and flexible necklace by Antonio Pineda. Herringbone shaped links are strung on a black velvet cord with silver balls for the tips. The velvet is 26 inches in length allowing it to be worn in a variety of lengths. Pineda's hallmark is stamped on one of the balls. The necklace is made of 970 silver, higher purity than the standard for sterling. Condition is excellent; made circa 1960. Books have been written about Antonio Pineda whose work is in the collection of several museums.
