Mountain Mist Iris Quilt: Circa 1930's; Pennsylvania

This softly toned Iris quilt is Mountain Mist pattern  that was copyrighted in 1930.
This example is in excellent, unwashed condition. There is a very light smudge near the bottom which one can find only with close examination.
The choice of pastel colors works beautifully together. Some of the flowers are done with only one color but others combine two. Quilting is done with diagonal lines.
Measurements are 76" x 88'. Pennsylvania origin; made 1930's.
