Hector Aguilar Large Silver Armadillo Belt Buckle
This unusually large Armadillo belt buckle by Hector Aguilar would suit a man or woman equally well. It measures 5 9/16" in width and 2 9/16" in height. It consists of five sterling silver plaques that are held together by rivets that allow for flexibility. The buckle is accompanied by a custom made leather strap that is not original. It measures 29 1/2 inches in wearable length. The strap widens to 3 3/8" at the back. The buckle can accommodate any strap up to 1 3/8 inches in width. Aguilar... Click for details
Hector Aguilar Silver and Onyx Cuff Bracelet
Unusual cuff bracelet by silver master, Hector Aguilar. The bracelet alternates five cabochon onyx stones with stylized silver X's. The X's, as well as the rope banding on top and bottom, are oxidized to carry through the black of the onyx stones. The bracelet is 1 9/16" from front to back. It has an inner circumference of 6 1/4" with an opening of one inch. A capable jeweler can compress or expand the size to fit many size wrists on a woman or man. Hallmark dates to the 1940's. Patricia Von Musulin Sterling Silver  Earrings
Both pairs of sterling silver earrings are by New York designer, Patricia Von Musulin. Earrings on the top have a hammered finish on the larger part of the swirl and smooth on top. They measure 3/4” x 1”. Clip backs can be converted to posts. The bottom pair has a gloss finish throughout. They measure 5/8” x 1”. Clip backs can also be converted to posts. Patricia Von Musulin Sterling Silver Cubes Ring
This dramatic crossover ring was made by New York jeweler, Patricia Von Musulin who is known for her bold, strong designs. In this ring, two cubes crossover each other with a band that is tapered as it approaches the cubes. The ring is size 7 1/2; it can be modified to smaller or larger. The ring weighs a substantial 41 grams. The cubes are 1 inch from front to back. Von Musulin's signature is visible but too light to show in thumbnail photo. Tiffany Sterling Silver Band Ring
Heavy sterling silver band by Tiffany and Co. The ring has incised, oxidized thin bands on the top and bottom. Across both edges are incised designs of circles with a line going across the diameter. The ring is size 6 3/4. It is 3/8" from front to back.
Cartier Trinity Stacking Gold Ring
In 1924, Cartier began their Trinity collection in which they combine elements of yellow; white and rose gold. The white is meant to denote lasting friendship; rose gold is for true love and the white signifies fidelity. They have expanded the original intertwined rolling ring concept and made it one of their signature combinations in all forms of jewelry. This stacking ring is a form not often seen. Jester Pendant on Gold Chain
This is a finely made, whimsical jester necklace. Is is made with beautifully inset stones of onyx; turquoise; lapis lazuli and malachite set on mother of pearl. The pendant measures 1 1/4 inches long and 7/8" wide. It is hung on a 19 inch gold box link chain. The pendant is signed and numbered although I am not able to read the name of the artist. Made circa 1990; excellent condition.
Tiffany Sterling Silver and Enamel Cufflinks
Tiffany sterling silver cufflinks with enamel nautical flags that spell out Tiffany. The cufflinks are 13/16" in diameter. Light scratching to silver can be polished out but does not seem essential. The scratches are more prominent in the enlarged images than in real life. Enamel is in excellent condition.
Linda Lee Johnson Sterling Silver Dangle Earrings
Sterling silver dangle earrings by Linda Lee Johnson. Johnson (1944 - 2018) is best known for being the first jeweler to sell her collection at Barney's in New York in 1989. Prior to that, her work was represented by Tiffany. These earrings measure 1 7/8 inches in length and 1 inch at their widest. Backs are posts inside of which is Johnson's signature triple lobe crown mark. Weight is 37 grams. Made circa 1990; excellent condition.
Eduardo Herrera Oxidized Silver Bracelet
Dramatic, articulated bracelet by Mexican architect turned jeweler, Eduardo Herrera. He oxidizes the surface of the 950 silver (higher quality than sterling) to create the black surface. The multiple links make it surprisingly fluid and comfortable to wear. The bracelet measures 8 inches in wearable length and 1 3/4 inches wide. The multiple rivets seen on the back demonstrate the care and intricacy with which the bracelet is made. The bracelet is sold in a wood box custom made by Herrera.
