Los Castillo Sterling and Aztec Jade Necklace
Totally awesome sterling silver necklace with huge Aztec jade pendant by famed Mexican silver designers, Los Castillo. Stone measures 4 1/2" wide and 1 1/4" tall. Chain, which also has Aztec jade, is 22" long. Excellent condition. Pendant and clasp both hallmarked. Made 1980's.
Margot de Taxco Enamel on Sterling Pins
Two wonderful enamel animal pins by Margot de Taxco; circa 1950. Both are in excellent condition and well hallmarked. Birds measure 1 3/4" wide and 5/8" tall. Fish is 2" wide and 1 5/8"tall. Glorious colors.
Los Castillo Silver, Copper and Brass Choker Necklace
Streamlined choker necklace in sterling, copper and brass made by Los Castillo who takes credit for initiating work with married metals. Substantial weight; well hinged links. Measures approximately 16" in circumference (can't be more precise because of the curve of the necklace) and 7/16" wide. Excellent condition.
Margot de Taxco Earrings; Circa 1950
Two pairs of screwback earrings by Margot de Taxco; circa 1950. Left pair - Typical of the curvilinear designs with balls often employed by Margot. 1 3/8" long and 5/16" wide. Right - Very deco looking design in black and white enamel. 1 1/4" long.Both in excellent condition.
Gucci 18 Karat Gold with Sterling Sun Earrings
Terrific Sun Face Earrings by primo Italian design house - Gucci. Eighteen karat gold circles surround the silver sun faces. Measure 1 1/8" in diameter. Excellent condition. French backs - posts and clips. Probably circa 1970.
Sterling Silver Bracelet by Emma; Circa 1950
Strongly designed, bracelet by Emma who worked in Taxco in the 1950's. Pre-Columbian birds alternate with panels of raised dots in this very heavy weight bracelet. Measures 1 1/8" wide and approximately 7 1/2" long. Safety chain makes it impossible to measure more precisely. Placement of safety chain inhibits putting the bracelet on and taking it off. One jump ring can easily be moved to give greater flexibility. Excellent condition.
Sterling Silver Bracelet by Emma; circa 1950
Heavy weight X's bracelet by the late Mexican designer Emma. Well made with lots of heft. Striking design. Measures approximately 7 1/2" without clasp; safety chain makes it difficult to be more precise; 1" wide. Excellent condition; circa 1950.
William Spratling Sterling Silver and Gold Box
Elegant sterling silver with gold dots box by master silver designer, William Spratling. Excellent condition. Measures 3 1/2" wide; 2 5/8" deep and 1" tall. 1947-67 hallmarks. A rare and elegant small treasure.
Matl Poulat Sterling Pin and Pendant
Two graceful pieces by Matl (Matilde Poulat. Both have her early hallmark; circa 1950. Pendant with black onyx measures 1 5/16" long and 1 1/8" wide. Unusual to find a genuine pendant done by Matl. $295 Cross brooch with turquoise measures 1 1/4"square. Lovely color to the stones. $395
William Spratling Sterling Silver Buttons
Two sets of sterling buttons by silver master, William Spratling. Both sets have 1940 - 46 hallmark. Excellent condition. Set on left measures 3/4" in diameter. Set on right is 5/8".
