Fred Davis Sterling Silver and Amethyst Bracelet
This dramatic bracelet by Frederick Davis (1880 - 1961) is as unusual as it is beautiful. The bracelet consists of four silver discs in which are set cabochon amethysts. The links are separated by silver bars, the ends of which repeat the circle motif. The discs are 1 9/16" in diameter. The bracelet has a wearable length of 8 1/2 inches. Although this is longer than the standard 7 inches, it fits a medium wrist. The large size of the discs requires more space to go around the wrist. The work... Click for details
William Spratling Sterling Silver Sauce Boat
This wood and sterling silver sauce or gravy boat is one of William Spratling's most graceful creations. The wood handles are beautifully integrated with the base. Silver dots, an element used in his jewelry as well, add the perfect subtle adornment to this ideal form. The piece is 3 inches tall and 8 1/2 inches from handle to handle. Condition is excellent. Antonio Pineda Sterling Silver Thumbnail Bracelets
Offered for sale are two hefty Antonio Pineda Thumbprint bracelets - one in the standard size and one in the more unusual larger size. Both are in excellent, vintage condition. They were made in the 1950's. Both bracelets are 970 silver which is more pure than the sterling standard. The smaller of the two is one inch in height and 7 9/16" in length. Antonio Pineda Sterling Silver Belt Buckle
Streamlined three dimensional belt buckle by the late Mexican designer, Antonio Pineda. The Modernist design flares to the far end. Each element consists of two sides that are raised to a peak. The buckle measures 1 1/2 inches wide and 1 3/8 inches tall . It accommodates a 3/4 inch belt. The buckle is suitable for a man or woman. William Spratling Caviar Bracelets
Offered for sale are two Caviar bracelets by silver master, William Spratling. Both are in excellent condition and measure 7 3/4 inches in length and 1 1/2 inches in circumference. The beads are handmade. The clasps are incorporated into the design so as to be virtually invisible. The example on the left alternates silver and copper beads. Los Castillo Large Silver and Malachite Bowl
Large and dramatic silver plate bowl with a malachite rim by Los Castillo. The diameter of the bowl is 16 inches. The bowl is round with the the tapered malachite rim expanding to 1 1/8 inches at the widest. The bowl is 4 1/2 inches tall including the four ball feet. It has exquisite scrolled handles of silver. Tiffany Gold and Ruby Flower Brooch
Lovely Tiffany flower brooch of twisted 18 karat gold centered with seven rubies. The brooch has eight petals, the design of which is repeated in the two leaves at the bottom. The brooch measures 2 1/4 inches in length and one inch in width. It dates to the 1960's; condition is excellent.
William Spratling Wood and Silver Dish
Most unusual wood and sterling dish by silver master, William Spratling. It is hand carved from a dark wood (likely ebony or rosewood) with sterling dots and dashes. Measurements are 8 inches long x 4 1/2 inches at its widest. It is 1 1/4 inches deep. The bowl and silver might benefit from oiling and polishing but I leave that to the next owner. It is in excellent condition. The hallmark dates from 1956 - 1962.
Tiffany Sterling Silver Atlas Slide Buckle
Tiffany sterling silver ribbed slide belt buckle that is no longer in production. This is in like new condition in the original Tiffany box and case. It measures 2 inches wide and 1 1/8" tall. It fits a one inch wide belt.
William Spratling Sterling Silver Belt Buckle
Sterling silver belt buckle by silver master, William Spratling. It is equally suitable for a man or woman. The buckle is 2 1/4 inches x 1 inch. It requires a 3/4 inch wide strap. The belt has Spratling's 1940's hallmark and is in excellent condition.
