The addition of Lemoyne Stars to this traditional Feathered Stars pattern gives the quilt a nice twinkle. Not only are the LeMoyne Stars within the larger blocks - they also appear in the white sashing. The diamond border wonderfully anchors the Star blocks. Hearts are quilted in the border's white triangles. The quilt measures 64" x 88". It is from Pennsylvania; circa 1880. Condition is excellent.
