Four point stars are known as Rocky Road to Kansas (aka Kite). This quilt is made with a wonderful assortment of late 19th century printed fabrics. The quilt is in excellent, unwashed condition It is totally reversible to a Bars pattern with one of the fabrics the same as the ground material on the front and the other a red and green plaid. Measurements are 80" x 84". Lancaster County, Pennsylvania origin; circa 1880's.
