Exquisitely quilted Touching Stars pattern. Rather than the usual composition of diamonds, these stars are made entirely of small triangles. Varied directional placement of the triangles gives the pattern additional movement. Wonderful array of late 19th century fabrics. Lovely fine piping around the edge. Measures a generous 96" x 98". Western Pennsylvania origin; circa 1870.
