Straight Furrows Log Cabin Quilt: Circa 1910; Pa.   $875

Straight Furrows Log Cabin pattern with two unusual features: the center of each log is divided on the diagonal adding intensity to the furrows; and the color scheme is out of the ordinary. The blacks and grays are not often seen in such predominance with the other colors chosen for this quilt. Unwashed condition; flawless with the exception of two small, old and well done patches on the border that are visible in the last thumbnail photo. Pennsylvania origin; circa 1910. Measures 74" square.
