Los Castillo Sterling and Ebony Necklace & Bracelet Set   $875   

Unusual necklace and bracelet set by Los Castillo. Alternating wood discs of the necklace are covered with sterling. Necklace measures 16 1/2" wearable length; bracelet is 7 1/4". Tiny wood chip on bracelet is visible in thumbnail photo. Circa 1980.

Long hair abstract hooked rug in wool done on burlap. Soft, muted colors. Deep pile measures 3". Rug is on a stretcher measuring 21" x 61". Rug is in excellent condition but stretcher is a bit flimsy. There would be no loss in removing the rug from the stretcher for much easier shipping. Circa 1920.

Extremely bold and dramatic Starburst quilt. This pattern is far more rare than the traditional eight point star. Wonderful assortment of 1870's fabrics. Machine quilted; double rows of stitching outline the pieced diamonds and are carried through on the blue ground. Measures 96" square; Pennsylvania origin.

William Spratling Silver & Obsidian Starfish   Inquire for Price  

Stunning and rare Starfish brooch and pendant by William Spratling. It is not uncommon to find the starfish theme in his work in silver alone. The three layers, though, with obsidian sandwiched between the silver, is quite rare. Measures 2 3/4" wide and 3" long. Several minute chips along the edge of the stone can be seen only with close examination. Hallmark dates to 1964-7.

Unusual construction in that it is quilted and seems to have batting but has an additional white cotton backing that appears to be original. Professionally laundered; pristine condition. Astrid Gusterman Sterling Silver Bracelet

Simultaneously large and graceful sterling silver bracelet by the late designer, Astrid Gusterman. Astrid and her husband, Stig, migrated from Sweden in 1950 and began their silversmithing business anew in Denver. Since their deaths in 1978, the business has been taken over by their daughters. This bracelet is an original of Astrid's. Measures 7 1/2" long and 1 3/4" wide.
