Large and dramatic brooch/ pendant by silver master, William Spratling. Rarely seen design. Measures 3 5/16" in diameter. Stones appear to be all original but when seen from the side, it is apparent that they are not all of the same shape. This is not visible when seen straight on and does not detract from the strength of this magnificent piece that is intended as both a brooch and pendant. 1940's hallmark.

Nine Patch Quilt ; Circa 1880; Pennsylvania   $1,425

Indigo and white Nine Patch quilt with an unusual variation of a zig zag border. One of the Nine Patch blocks reverses the navy and white squares.
