One Patch Doll Quilt: Circa 1940
One Patch Doll Quilt: Circa 1940   $185

This is one of the smallest doll quilts I've seen. It was most likely made for use in a doll house. It measures 4 1/2" x 5 1/2"; done all of cotton ginghams. The colors are well place to give this little gem a nice abstract quality in addition to the One Patch pattern. Excellent condition. Machine quilted around the edge; circa 1940.

Nine Patch Crib Quilt/Wild Goose Chase: Ca.1920;Pa.   $650

This Nine Patch Crib Quilt must have been made by someone with a droll sense of humor. The centers utilize printed fabric with geese and the entire piece is framed by a Wild Goose Chase border. I prefer to think this was not coincidence. Unused condition; has several tiny spots that I do not think merit laundering. Quilted with diagonal lines. Utilizes several different blue fabrics. Measures 36" x 37". Pennsylvania origin; circa 1920.

Pendant measures 2" in diameter; silver chain is 25" long. Comes in original box. The silver can be polished but I prefer some patina and left that up to the purchaser.

Rooster Quilt: Circa 1898; Pennsylvania origin   Inquire for Price

This unique Rooster quilt is truly something to crow about. It is made entirely of 1 inch squares. The background is cotton; the rooster's body is primarily velvet with some wool. In addition to being quilted, the rooster's body is also tied which I believe is meant to give the effect of feathers. The forty five star flag dates the quilt to the time period between 1896 and 1908. The light squares toward the bottom look like letters and possibly a number but I am not clearly able to decipher...
