Silver Bracelet with Labradorite and Iolite   $575   

This awesome, one of a kind bracelet is made of two types of stones. The flat stones are labradorite and the cabochon and faceted stones are iolite. They beautifully combine blues, grays and purples. The bracelet is heavily silver plated. It is 2" wide and adjustable in length from 7 1/4" to 8 1/2".

This richly colored bracelet is full of texture, both from the stones and the silver. The rough cut of the ruby and cognac quartz stones creates wonderful uneven surfaces. The silver has a brushed matte finish. A toggle clasp can fit in three different loops, giving lots of size flexibility. The bracelet is 1 1/2" wide and can range in length from 7" to 8 1/2".

Windmill Blades Log Cabin Quilt: Circa 1890   Sold  

This Windmill Blades Log Cabin Quilt has lots of swirling movement as the name implies. The dark centers are made of a combination of blue and brown fabrics giving added richness to this vibrant pattern. The front is almost all wool with velvet centers to each block. The yellow fabric and backing are cotton. Excellent condition; circa 1890. Measures 72" x 86".

This unusual quilt is intended to be completely reversible. One side is a One Patch and the reverse is Wild Geese(aka Birds in the Air). While the quilt was made in the late 19th century, the Wild Geese incorporates some fabrics from the mid century. It is especially interesting to find elegant glazed chintz in three of the blocks of this otherwise country quilt. Evening Stars Quilt: Circa 1890   $695  

Classic Evening Stars quilt done in solid red and white with tiny black print. Nice cable pattern quilting in the red grid; geometric pattern in the stars. Excellent condition. Measures 71" x 81"; circa 1890. The red is a beautiful mellow color. It is not toward orange as appears on my monitor.

Wonderful version of the bold Delectable Mountains quilt done in a palette of unusual, gentle colors. The Variable Star center is a nice touch as are the extra triangles inside the sawtooth border. Excellent condition. Measures 82" square. Pennsylvania origin; circa 1880.

Indiana Amish Center Medallion Quilt: Circa 1920   $5,500  

This unusual piece combines several patterns in a center medallion format rarely seen in mid West Amish quilts. The center LeMoyne Star is surrounded by blocks of Bow Ties and Chinese Coins that are irregularly set. The maker of this quilt had both imagination and skill. It is well pieced and quilted with several different patterns. The quilt is all cotton fabrics; circa 1920. It is in mint, unwashed condition. Measurements are 68" x 80".
