Wire Bicycles: Circa 1920 ; Pennsylvania   $450   

These two finely detailed wire sculptures depict slightly different bicycles. The piece on the left is actually a tricycle and on the right is what is called a bonecruncher. Both are in excellent condition. They measure 6" tall to the top of the handlebars. Circa 1930; found in Pennsylvania.

Ed Wiener Sterling and Pearl Earrings: circa 1950

These subtly sculptural earrings are by the late famed Modernist designer, Ed Wiener. A pearl moves on a rod that spans the oxidized, curved backing. The earrings measure 3/4" long and 1/2" wide; screwbacks; excellent condition.

Black Bottle Dolls: Pennsylvania   $375  

These two bottle dolls each have lots of personality. The ample bosom mammy on the left dates to the 1920's. She has had a life of hard wok as seen in her tattered apron and head scarf. Her feedsack print dress does not show wear. She is 13" tall. The doll on the right has clothes that indicate an earlier date. She was probably made in the late 19th century with clothing a bit fancier than her counterpart's. Her apron, for instance, has a lace bottom. She measures 14 1/2" tall to the top of... Country Store Jars with Original merchandise

These five country store bottles are appealing for their history as well as their shapes. The bottles contain their original merchandise. Two, with labels, contain Knox Sparkling Gelatin. The others have seeds, grains and beans. They range in height from 5 1/4" to 9 1/4". Probably from the 1890's; excellent condition.

Helen Woodhull Gold Cuff Bracelet; Dated 1989   $4,200  

This is an original gold cuff bracelet by collectible American designer, Helen Woodhull. Since her death in 2005, Woodhull's atelier has continued at James Robinson but this piece is dated 1989. The central stone is garnet flanked by three yellow sapphires on each side. It fits a small/medium wrist. The inner diameter is 2 1/8" with an opening of 1". It is 7/16" tall. The original safety chain is included but has been removed from the bracelet.

Cats Hooked Rug; Circa 1890; Pennsylvania

This charming hooked rug shows two cats with a variety of flowers of vastly different sizes and shapes. Soft colors are brightened by the judicious use of red. The rug is professionally mounted on a stretcher measuring 19" x 30". Pennsylvania origin; late 19th century.

Antonio Pineda Silver and Obsidian Necklace & Bracelet   $4,000  

This teardrop necklace and bracelet is one of Antonio Pineda's iconic designs. In this instance, the stone is obsidian which has a slight iridescence, an unusual choice for him. Made of 970 silver. The bracelet links are 1 1/2" wide. Links of the necklace are graduated with the largest also 1 1/2" in width. The curved links are hinged to gracefully form to the neck. Excellent condition. Circa 1960.

This wonderfully detailed and sculptural briefcase was made by mid 20th century designer, Don Shoemaker. Shoemaker was an American who worked in Morelia, Mexico from 1947 until his death in 1990. He has come to be known as the Nakashima of Mexico and this piece validates that honorific. Shoemaker made small objects as well as furniture, all combining various tropical woods. Miniature Painted Blanket Chest: Circa 1850   $1,075  

This miniature blanket chest is charming in its homemade effort to be fancy. Bracket feet and reeding over them indicate the maker's desire to make more than a functional miniature chest. Original green paint; butt hinges. Very good condition. Measures 12 3/4" wide; 7" deep and 8" tall. Circa 1850.

Carved Stone (probably Grave Marker); Dated 1905

This carved stone piece was likely made as a grave marker. Regardless of its original purpose, it is a wonderful sculpture. A different motif is carved on each side. It measures 4 1/2" tall; 4 3/4" wide and 3 1/2" deep. Condition is very good with s small area chipped out of the top rear a long time ago based upon the patina. Found in Pennsylvania.
