Two delightfully homemade Amish animals - the white cotton horse measures 12" long and 9 1/2" tall. He (or she) has wonderfully detailed tack; embroidered facial features and a braided tail. Dates to about 1950. Elephant - made of dark brown velvet with glass (?) bead eyes. The rubber ears are mostly broken off. Measurements are a11 1/4" from head to tail and 7 1/4" tall. Made circa 1930.

Starbursts are just the beginning of patterning of this exciting quilt. Diamonds are filled with Robbing Peter to Pay Paul type circles that look quite different when used in half around the border. Red centers are strategically placed within the stars. The blue and ivory border chintz beautifully complements the printed fabrics of the interior. Tremendous care and planning to maske this a superb quilt. Measurements are 80@ x 88@. Pennsylvania origin> circa 1850.

Hector Aguilar Oversize Sterling Silver Bracelet   $2,650  

Usually, Aguilar made this bracelet with links about half the size of this imposing piece. In this unusual example, the concave links are 13/16" tall and the three balls are 1 1/4" tall. It is made of 940 silver and has a hallmark dating from 1940 - 1948. Closure is with a pin clasp. There are a few dings to the balls but the large links are in excellent condition.

Squares within squares such as this are called an Economy Patch quilt pattern. It is made of a terrific combination of late 19th century printed fabrics. Consistent use of yellow squares on the outer edge make a clever differentiation while actually using the same pattern throughout.The backing is a pink and green calico Bars pattern, often seen in quilts from southeast Pennsylvania. Measurements are 82" square; circa 1880. Excellent condition.

Beautiful Feathered Diamonds Quilt with a diagonal sashing. The white open diamonds highlight the fine quilting of feather patterns. The sawteeth, or feathers, are done with a wonderful variety of fabrics. Excellent, unwashed condition. Measures 80" x 96". Pennsylvania origin; circa 1870.

Nine Patch Quilt made of fine, printed wool challis fabrics on both front and back. It has a wonderfully rich color palette. Measurements are 72" x 88". Very good condition. There is a weak spot on one corner where it appears to have gotten caught on something. Made circa 1870.

One Patch Quilt in Squares: Ca. 1880; Maine   $1,435  

Nicely made One Patch quilt in which the pieces are set on point in groups of squares. The groups, made primarily of printed fabrics, are separated by solid white diamonds making a nice distinction between groups. It has a wonderful array of late 19th century fabrics. White binding is the backing turned over. Excellent condition; there is damage to one square. Measures 62" x 75". Maine origin; circa 1880.

Silver and Copper Necklace with Rose Quartz

Handmade silver and copper box links necklace interspersed with balls of rose quartz. Designed by Violante Ulrich in Mexico. Violante's father purchased the Spratling ranch after Spratling's death. She grew up surrounded by the designs and craftsman of the Mexican silver master. The necklace measures 27" wearable length. Links are 5/16" wide.
