Beautifully designed and executed sterling silver hinged bangle bracelet by Mexican designer, Carmen Beckmann. The bracelet has 11 faceted amethyst stones of various sizes and shapes. The bracelet is 1 1/8 inches tall. The inside diameter is 2 3/8 inches. It fits a small/ medium wrist. The bracelet has a secure clasp and original safety chain. Condition is excellent. Made circa 1960's. The bracelet weighs a substantial 94 grams.

This Blazing Stars quilt combines perfectly with the Hourglass off blocks to create a very dynamic pattern. The stars are made with unusually small diamond shaped pieced that alternate the solid white with dark printed fabrics. The eye is drawn to the dark brown LeMoyne Star centers. The stars seem to pop off the deep indigo ground. The quilt is in excellent condition. Measurements are 80 inches square. Pennsylvania Mennonite origin; made circa 1880.

Indiana Amish Roman Stripe Quilt: Circa 1920   $2,400  

Stunning version of a Roman Stripe quilt done on an unusual dark brown ground. The quilt is almost all wool with occasional pieces of velvet and cotton sateen. The fabric of the maroon inner border is used throughout the quilt. Both borders are quilted with cable patterns and half wreaths in the interior. The backing is black cotton sateen. This most unusual Ohio Amish quilt might go by either the name Star of the East or North Star. In either case, the six point star presents a powerful image. It is especially dramatic done on a black ground with two shades of blue creating three dimensionality to the star. The quilt is in pristine condition. This is an elegant pair of sterling silver master salt dishes by William Spratling. The dishes are 2 inches tall and 3 1/4 inches in diameter. Hand hammer marks show within the bottom of the bowls. All else is a smooth finish. The salts have Spratling's circular imprint used from 1933 - 1939. This is a most unusual pair of sterling silver mint dishes by famed silver designer, William Spratling. The tops of the dishes measure 2" x 2 3/4". They are mounted on an S shaped base. They are 13/16" in height. The two dishes have different Spratling marks. One is the conjoined script WS with the designation of 925 silver that dates from 1949 - 1956. This Nine Patch quilt actually forms two additional patterns. Triangles in the corners of the off blocks create Octagons and the joining of the peach triangles on diagonals creates an Hourglass pattern as well. The quilt is a beautiful shade of peach, not often seen. It is softer in color than appears on my monitor. Elegant and most unusual pie server by Hector Aguilar. The server measures 10 1/4 inches in length and 3 1/4" at the widest. The handle is beautifully three dimensional. It is made of 940 silver, more pure than the standard for sterling. It has Aguilar's hallmark dating from 1940 - 1948. Condition is excellent. Weight is 141 grams.
