Bold and chunky silver earrings by New York designer, Patricia von Musulin. Von Musulin is known for the three dimensional aspect of her work and these clip earrings are no exception. They measure 1 1/2" long and 7/8" wide; made circa 1980. Von Musulin's work is in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Wonderful silver and copper earrings by modernist designer, Sam Kramer. The crescent shaped earrings have a silver ball. The tip is turned over with a copper ball making for a very three dimensional design. Measurements are 1 1/16" long x 7/8" wide; backs are clips. Made circa 1960; excellent condition.

Nine Patch doll quilt on a vibrant red print ground consisting of several different printed fabrics. It is machine quilted in a pattern of squares like the nine patches. There are three size groups of nine patches. Could this have been because they were leftover from other quilts or were they practice patches for a young girl? Measurements are 16 1/2" x 23 1/2". Parkersburg, West Virginia origin; circa 1890.

Outstanding Baltimore Album quilt that combines both traditional and whimsical, original blocks. The eagle draws the eye to the center and then allows it to meander through the variety of finely detailed blocks. Signatures indicate the quilt was related to the North and Horner families of mid 19th century Baltimore. More complete information is available to purchaser.

Richly colored Wild Goose Chase quilt (aka Geese in Flight) from the early 19th century. Abutting the triangles gives a terrific up and down movement to the "geese". Streak of Lightning border was meant to indicate the end for the head. Clamshell quilting in outer border; diagonal lines and stylized flowers in the triangles. Large Silver Brooch with Amethyst: Circa 1940   $395  

Large Mexican silver brooch with a central amethyst stone. The pin measures 2 1/2" wide x 2 3/8" tall. The silver work nicely follows the shape of the amethyst. Excellent condition; made circa 1940's.

Silver and Amber Bead Necklace

Graduated silver beads alternate with amber in this lovely necklace. The silver beads are handmade as is the fine box clasp. There are a few tiny dings on the silver beads but basically, it is in very good condition. The necklace measures 20" long. The amber beads are 9/16" in diameter; the silver are graduated in size. Probably made in the 1940's or 50's.

Folk Art Animals Quilt: Circa 1860; Connecticut   Sold  

It is safe to say that this amazing quilt filled with animals is a one of a kind. It is a glorious combination of barnyard animals as well as whales; giraffes and fish. In addition, it has a variety of fruits and vegetables. It is a summer spread professionally mounted on a stretcher that is hinged for easier transport. Measurements are 80" square. Connecticut origin with family history available to purchaser.
