This Mennonite Touching Stars quilt clearly reflects the Victorian era in which it was made. The stars are made of totally irregular pieces similar to those used in Victorian Crazy quilts. It is all wool with a nice variety of embroidered stitching throughout the stars and the Four Patches between them. It is in excellent condition; measurements are 78" x 82". Three jaspe pitchers typical of the collectible designs of this rustic terra cotta French pottery. The pitcher on the left with orange dots on brown measures 3 3/4" tall.There is very slight predictable age related wear around the rim. The middle with brown dots on orange is 4" tall with very little wear and no chips. The right is 4 5/8" tall and has a small, unobtrusive chip on the rim. Tiffany Gold and Enamel Bracelet: Circa 1960's   $7,200  

Tiffany 18 karat gold bracelet with undulating bands of blue and green enamel. The bracelet is intricately made and a substantial weight. Measurements are 7 1/4" wearable length and 7/16" wide. It has a nice clasp with two safety catches.

The design of this pair of wood and silver bangle bracelets beautifully combines straight lines with silver balls. They are very solidly made with the interior of silver. They are 970 silver, more pure than the sterling standard which is 925 parts silver. The interior measures 2 5/8" x 2 3/16" fitting a medium size hand. They are priced for the pair.

Sterling Silver and Ebony Cuff Bracelet   $295  

Handmade cuff bracelet with sterling silver triangles alternating with ebony. It is substantially made with the wood measuring 1/4" thick. It fits a medium size wrist. The inside diameter is 2 1/4" with a 1 1/2" opening.

This is one of the finest and earliest pairs of pillow cases I have had the pleasure to own. They Streak of Lightning is a pattern rarely seen in pillow cases. They are in excellent condition with beautiful fabrics and hand crocheted lace on the edges. Measurements are 17 1/2" x 31" including edging. Lancaster County, Pennsylvania origin; circa 1830's.

Lisa Jenks Sterling Silver Bracelet: Circa 1980's   $625  

Classic Lisa Jenks bracelet combining links and chain. Different designs on the links make it completely reversible for two bracelets in one. The central links are 7/16" wide. Wearable length is 7 1/2" including nice toggle clasp. Excellent condition; made 1980's.

The combination of Caesar's Crown with Mariner's Compass patterns and their placement are brilliant. The central and corner block compasses draw the eye throughout the piece. The floral chintz border and pink sashing soften the geometry of the pieced patterns. Professionally laundered and in excellent condition. There is very slight toning to the back that does not show on the front. Pennsylvania origin; circa 1850. Measurements are 96" square.

Hourglass And Bars Crib Quilt: Ca. 1890; Pa.   $1,450  

This Hourglass Crib Quilt on a striped ground is an unusual but very successful pairing of patterns. The choice of satin fabrics is also out of the ordinary. It is in pristine condition and is mounted on a stretcher measuring 31" x 31 1/2". It is very effective as an abstract design both vertically or horizontally. Made in Pennsylvania; circa 1890.

To the best of my knowledge, this quilt in which the Tumbling Blocks pattern is set in Bars, is a unique pattern. The maker of this quilt certainly had a distinctive eye in that her choice of fabrics is also out of the ordinary.The Tumbling Blocks effect works equally well when the quilt is viewed both vertically and horizontally. It is in excellent condition and truly one of a kind. Measurements are 77" x 84". Pennsylvania origin; circa 1890.
