Starburst Charm Quilt: Circa 1880; Pennsylvania   $2,800   

This pulsating starburst quilt is all the more amazing because it is what is known as a "Charm Quilt," which means no fabric is repeated. Many are similar but when closely examined, it is evident that they are not the same. The maker chose a wonderful group of fabrics including several dogs; birds and cats as well as George Washington. Small William Spratling Silver Ladle

Beautiful small silver ladle with an ebony handle by silver master, William Spratling. The inside of the bowl shows the hand hammer marks while the outside is smooth. A side view shows the elegance with which the handle is made. It is wider toward the bottom and tapers at the top.It measures 6 3/4" long; the bowl is 1 7/8" in diameter. There is a tiny indentation on the wood handle close to the bowl; everything else is in perfect condition. 1940's hallmark.

William Spratling Silver and Wood Ladle: Circa 1940's   $975  

Elegant silver ladle with an ebony handle by silver master, William Spratling. The inside of the bowl shows the hand hammer marks. It measures 3 1/2" wide to the pouring lip. The handle is 10" long. Excellent condition; 1940's hallmark.

Gold Earrings with Emerald and Diamonds

Substantial size 18 karat gold earrings with three ribs centered with a pear shaped emerald and surrounded by 6 round diamonds. Omega backs. Maker's mark JDI. Measurements are 1" long and 5/8" wide.

William Spratling Earrings: Circa 1960   $1,075  

These large earrings by silver master William Spratling are most unusual. Oval obsidian discs are below the silver swirl with an obsidian ball on top. They measure 1 1/8" wide x 1 5/8" tall. 1960's hallmark. They are from the widow of silversmith Allan Adler.

Birds in the Air Quilt: Circa 1880; Pennsylvania

This triangles quilt pattern most closely resembles Birds in the Air but technically is a bit different. Both fabrics are tiny prints that blend well together. The backing is a complimentary small print. It is very well pieced and in excellent, unwashed condition. Pennsylvania origin; circa 1880's. Measurements are 78" x 85".

Light and Dark Log Cabin Quilt: Circa 1870   $1,085  

This beautiful jewel toned Light and Dark Log Cabin quilt is made of satins giving it a rich luster. The placement of light and dark makes for a variety of patterns and lots of movement. The quilt consists of a top quilted to a cotton backing. It was not completed and does not have a binding but one could easily be added if desired. Measurements are 64" x 74": circa 1870's.

Oval Loops Sterling Silver Necklace

Unusual long sterling silver necklace with two alternating finishes. One is a matte surface and the other is what the maker refers to as "chaotica" as it is an allover irregular pattern. The loops are deeper at one end than the other all of which contributes to its unusual look. It measures 29" long; links are 3/4" wide.

This Center Medallion or One Patch Doll Quilt begins with fabrics from the 1830's in the center. It works its way to the 1880's in the border and outer frames. The fabrics are all in excellent condition. The quilt is professionally mounted on a stretcher measuring 16 3/4" x 18 3/4". Pennsylvania origin.

Tiffany Gold Ridged Half Hoop Earrings

These 18 karat gold earrings by Tiffany could not be more versatile. The ridged pattern adds dimension and nice reflection of light to these half hoops. Measurements are 1/2" wide and 7/8" long; excellent condition. Omega backs; circa 1970.
