Early Hexagons Quilt with Center Star: Circa 1820's   $7,600   

Early Mosaic Hexagons quilt with a central star. The star is made of 10 irregular pie shaped pieces. The entire rest of the quilt is made of hexagons. The background looks as though it is solid fabric but in fact, it is made of hexagons of the same material that abut one another. The quilt is made of a glorious combination of fabrics from the first quarter of the 19th century. Quite a few are glazed. The quilt is in excellent condition. This classic Nine Patch crib quilt was made with a well balanced group of fabrics. The top row of similar tones was probably made to indicate the end used for the head. The quilt is in excellent, unwashed condition.It was made circa 1880; York County, Pennsylvania. The backing is a Bars pattern. Measurements are 40" x 49".

Paisley Bars Quilt: Circa 1870; New York State   $1,875  

This unusual Bars quilt is made of two printed fabrics. A paisley pattern is used for half of the Bars and the border. A second, very compatible print is used for the alternating Bars. Quilting throughout is with double rows of diagonal lines. The quilt has been professionally laundered and is in excellent condition. Measurements are 72" x 96". New York State origin; circa 1870's.

This Cheater's Cloth quilt (aka Faux Patchwork) is a beautiful Tumbling Blocks pattern done in rich shades of brown. The back is an equally pleasing check that is often erroneously referred to as homespun but in fact, is machine made.The quilt is in pristine, unwashed condition. Measurements are 70" x 82". Pennsylvania origin; circa 1880.

This charming House quilt is a pattern designed by Ruby Short McKim in 1935. She sold fabric as well as instructions for blocks to make either a quilt or a pillow or stool top. This example has a combination of solid and gingham fabrics, most likely sold by McKim, that make a soft yet lively composition. It is in unwashed condition. Stunning colorful Berber necklace from Morocco made of a variety of beads. The large center ball is enamel. It is surrounded by three strands of coral as well as glass and silver beads. The necklace measures 20 inches in length.

This Pot of Tulips quilt has an unusual quality that makes for something of an abstract pattern. The combination of color; the shapes between the pots as well as the placement of the floral designs make one step back for a moment to realize that the primary pattern is actually the Pots of Tulips. The quilt measures 78 inches square. It is freshly laundered and in pristine condition. Made circa 1900; Pennsylvania origin.

This precisely made New York Beauty quilt is a fine example of a desirable and difficult to execute pattern. It is well pieced and quilted. The off blocks are stitched with large wreaths. LeMoyne stars are a good choice for the centers of each block. It has been professionally laundered and is in pristine condition. The quilt measures a generous 90" x 96". Pennsylvania origin; circa 1920's.

Judith Ripka Gold Heart Pendants   $1,075  

Two 18 karat gold heart pendants by Judith Ripka. The heart on the left measures 1 1/4 inches in length including the loop and 7/8" in width. The body has a soft satin finish. A cabochon ruby is at the top of the heart. Price is $1075. The heart on the right is centered with three diamonds. It measures 15/16" in length including the loop. The loop is hinged to accommodate a variety of sizes of clasps for the hanging chain. Price is $550.
