 | Hector Aguilar Silver Bracelet with Turquoise $1075. |
This early bracelet by silver designer, Hector Aguilar, dates to the 1940's. It is unusual for the Mexican silversmiths to have incorporated turquoise in their work. The bracelet measures 3/4" wide and 6 1/2" in wearable length. Condition is very good; one of the stones has fissures that may have been natural to the stone rather than cracks.

Wonderfully crisp looking design of Baskets surrounded by a sawtooth border. The sawtooth actually repeats the same triangles as within the baskets; they are just turned in a different direction. One of the special features of this perky quilt is that the maker exactly duplicated the pieced baskets in the quilted patterns. Freshly laundered; excellent condition. Measures 68" x 80": Eastern Shore of Maryland origin.
