Antonio Pineda Sailboat Cufflinks: Circa 1960   SOLD    

These Sailboat cufflinks are most unusual for Mexican designer, Antonio Pineda. Streamlined design wonderfully conveys the boat and the wavy water. Very good condition. Small enamel loss in one visible in photos. Measurements are 13/16" square. Made circa 1960.

Four homemade musical instruments are made from a variety of recycled parts. The bodies of all but the fiddle are cigar boxes; the fiddle is banded with previously used metal. They were likely meant as actual instruments to be played but would make a wonderful sculptural grouping. The largest is 29" tall; the smallest is 15". Made circa 1900.

TANE Silver Ring   $295.   

Great, whimsical ring by Mexico's most esteemed design house, Tane. The silver ring consists of 6 bands that are soldered together. Seventeen loose circles are attached to the top. The ring is size 6; excellent condition. Made 1970's or 80's.

Matl (Matilde Poulat) Ring with Amethyst and Turquoise
  Matl (Matilde Poulat) Ring with Amethyst and Turquoise   $585.

Wonderful, early ring by Mexican designer Matilde Poulat who worked under the name Matl. The ring beautifully combines amethyst with turquoise, as is often seen in her work. In addition, she utilized the entire sides and shank as part of the ornate silver design. The ring is size 7 1/2; made in the 1950's.
