Who has ever seen Mickey Mouse as a hooked chair cushion? He couldn't be cuter. The tapering on the top leads me to believe this was made as a chair pad but it can just as easily be wall mounted. Measures 14 1/4" at its widest and 14 1/4" tall. Has an old, well done repair on the back. Made of wool with a cotton twill binding. Circa 1930; found in Maine.

Wonderful geometric hooked rug with a primary pattern of diamonds within diamonds. A secondary pattern of pinwheels ls formed by the green and black triangles. Excellent condition. Professionally mounted on a stretcher measuring 24" x 73". This unusual size rug would be ideal hung vertically in a stairwell or horizontally over a sofa, bed; fireplace - or whatever other space you may have. Maine origin; circa 1920.
