A vibrant kaleidoscopic background sets off this charming reclining dog hooked rug. The dog has whimsical yellow paws; ears and nose adding to his unique charm. The initials EG are probably those of the maker. Professionally mounted on a stretcher measuring 30 1/2" x 40". Lancaster County, Pennsylvania origin. Made of wool; excellent condition.

Terrifically graphic chevrons pattern hooked rug with a cable pattern border. The unusual combination works well together with the red centers of the border adding just the right amount of punch. The rug is in pristine condition; professionally mounted on a stretcher measuring 23" x 47 1/2". Made circa 1930; New England origin.

This charming hooked rug shows two cats with a variety of flowers of vastly different sizes and shapes. Soft colors are brightened by the judicious use of red. The rug is professionally mounted on a stretcher measuring 19" x 30". Pennsylvania origin; late 19th century.

Two roosters are proudly crowing in this charming hooked rug. Hearts in the corners are probably indicative of the maker's affection for them. The rug is professionally mounted on a stretcher measuring 19 1/2" x 40 1/2". Pennsylvania origin; circa 1890. Very good condition with some minor color bleed in the hearts on the right side.
