One Patch Doll Quilt: Circa 1940
One Patch Doll Quilt: Circa 1940   $185.

This is one of the smallest doll quilts I've seen. It was most likely made for use in a doll house. It measures 4 1/2" x 5 1/2"; done all of cotton ginghams. The colors are well place to give this little gem a nice abstract quality in addition to the One Patch pattern. Excellent condition. Machine quilted around the edge; circa 1940.

Nine Patch Doll Quilt: Circa 1880; Pennsylvania   $595.

Pristine condition Nine Patch Doll Quilt with a nice use of late 19th century fabrics. The plaid border, in particular, is a great choice as it seems to create a four patch effect with a cross mirroring the grid of the quilt. Measures 20" square; circa 1880. Berks County, Pennsylvania origin.

LeMoyne Stars Crib Quilt: Circa 1880; Pennsylvania
LeMoyne Stars Crib Quilt: Circa 1880; Pennsylvania   $1600.

This small size Lemoyne Stars crib quilt was either for a small baby or a large doll. It measures 20" x 24". The red stars really "pop" on the unusual chocolate brown background. The maker took some care in cutting the brown fabric to give an extra frame around the edge with the print of the material. Excellent condition. Professionally mounted on a stretcher. Circa 1880; Pennsylvania origin.
