Wonderfully scaled Barnraising Log Cabin Crib Quilt done in fine wools. This type of quilt is often seen in full size but rarely in a crib and less often in the soft tones used in this example. Backed with cotton cheater's cloth typically from the time of the Centennial. Measures 41" x 46"; circa 1870's. Very good condition; cable quilting in the border.

| | Red and White Diamonds Crib Quilt $1450. |
At first glance this diamonds crib quilt may seem like a fairly simple pattern. A closer look shows that it is actually quite complex. In addition to the diamonds, there are Hourglasses (aka Bow Ties) and Evening Stars depending upon how the eye focuses.
Three borders nicely contain this vibrant pattern. It is in very good condition. The binding has been reinforced with very tiny overcast stitching but no other condition apologies. Professionally laundered.
Measures 35" x 42"; circa 1880.
