| Variable Stars Crib Quilt Dated 1893 $595. | |
Large size Variable Stars Crib Quilt with a wonderful Wild Goose Chase grid and border. Red ruffled edge provides an unusual additional frame. Written in ink on the back it says "Mildreds Christmas, from Great Grandmother Cornell. 1893." A separately sewn tag has the numbers 68.83 leading me to believe it is an accession number from a museum. Probably New England origin. Measures 47 1/2" x 58" including ruffle. Reds are a little softer in color than show on my monitor.

| Sawtooth Crib Quilt: Circa 1870 $675. |
Blue and white crib quilt is a delicate version of the Sawtooth pattern. Well quilted; several different blue calico fabrics used. Very good condition; has a group of several very small spots that I have not tried to remove. They are visible in close-up image. Four borders are a strong anchor for this airy pattern. Measures 31" x 38"; circa 1870.
