Wonderful scale Baskets Crib Quilt in the ultimate color combination of navy and white. Interesting in that it is machine quilted with the basket handles appliqued by hand. Far more often, it is the reverse. Excellent condition. Measures 29 1/2" x 34 1/2". New York State origin; circa 1880.

Nice combination of fabrics used in the Nine Patches and brilliant use of the paisley on the back. Machine quilted. Two very faint smudges visible on the pink; all else in excellent condition. Measures 31" x 36 1/2". Pennsylvania origin; circa 1880.

Unique crocheted and appliqued figural wall hanging made by North Carolina artist Kate Clayton Donaldson (1864 - 1960) known as Granny Donaldson. Donaldson saw images of similar designs draped over the backs of cows in Italy and set out to make her own versions. Each of Donaldson's pieces is a different design. Made of homespun and dyed wools.
