| Spiderweb Quilt: Circa 1920; Pennsylvania SOLD | |
Complex Spiderweb Quilt that spins before your eyes. Interesting to see how the use of three different shaped triangles can create such a multiplicity of patterns. Pristine, un-used condition. Very finely crafted - well pieced and quilted. Measures 74" x 88". Pennsylvania origin; circa 1920.

| Whig Rose Quilt: Circa 1920 $1800. |
Unusually elegant 1920's version of a Whig Rose (aka California Rose or Democratic Rose) quilt pattern. Elaborate quilting includes wreaths around alternate blocks. Done on a pale ecru, cotton sateen ground. Excellent, unwashed condition. Measures 86" x 98". The backing is the darker pink shade making this equally usable on the reverse as a whole cloth quilt.

| Eye of God Quilt: Circa 1920; Pennsylvania $2250. | |
Diamonds within diamonds most resemble the Eye of God in this unusual quilt pattern. Greek key is a brilliant choice of border for this bold design. What is most surprising is that the entire quilt is made of 1 1/2" squares; there are no strips of fabric. Well planned with color placement of the diamond outlines making for a symmetrical pattern. Pristine, unwashed condition. Measures 81" x 90". The blue is a very pleasing tone that is softer than on my monitor. Pennsylvania origin; circa 1920.
