New York Beauty Quilt: Circa 1930; Pensylvania   $2200.

This is a particularly fine example of the desirable New York Beauty pattern. The colors really seem to give off the glow of sunshine. One Patch Quilt: Circa 1920; Pennsylvania
One Patch Quilt: Circa 1920; Pennsylvania   $975.

The colors and fabrics give this One Patch quilt a most sophisticated look.I consider it a poor man's Paul Klee painting. It is made almost entirely of satins with a cotton sateen back and is in pristine condition. It is quilted in diagonal patterns in red thread both of which add to the texture of the quilt. Measurements are 62" x 78". Pennsylvania origin; circa 1920.

Lone Star Quilt with ZigZag Border: Ca. 1900; Pa.   $2650.

This Lone Star quilt is perfectly done in every way. It is well quilted including an unusual pattern of overlapping circles throughout the border. The piecing is well done with the ideal choice of the red color for the center. The corner suns are most unusual and the zig zag border is the ideal frame for the entire composition. Pennsylvania origin; circa 1900. Measures 71" x 72".

Delectabale Mountains Quilt: Dated 1929; Pa.
Delectabale Mountains Quilt: Dated 1929; Pa.   $735.

This is a beautiful example of the much sought after, Delectable Mountains quilt pattern. It is done in a pleasing soft shade of pink. The center forms an Evening Star pattern and it has a wonderful zig zag border framing all. Embroidered in a corner is the name Edna M. Adams and the date 1929. It is the same Edna Adams who signed the Star quilt item # 1238674, although this time she added her initial, making her easier to trace if one wanted. It is in excellent condition and very nicely quilted... Click for details
