Exuberant Sampler Quilt from the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Very well designed with each of the blocks different and all four corners repeating the Carolina Lily pattern. Combination of original and traditional patterns but most unusual is the "Old Homestead" embroidered inscription below the building.
