| Sawtooth Quilt: Circa 1870; New England $1800. | |
Very complex version of a Sawtooth (aka Rocky Glen) Quilt in which the overall pattern forms a large criss cross with a star in the center. Stepped arrangement of squares also makes the overall pattern a series of concentric frames. Wonderful variety of fabrics. Probably New England origin; circa 1870. Measures 70" x 80". Excellent condition; two light smudges are the only condition flaws.

| Miniature Double Nine Patch Quilt: Circa 1880 $3300. |
This miniature Double Nine Patch Quilt has the smallest pieces I have ever, ever seen. Each square is a mere 3/8" across. Almost impossible to imagine making an entire quilt of such tiny pieces. Red centers add to the diagonal chain effect very much in evidence in addition to the Nine Patches. Professionally laundered; excellent condition. Circa 1880; nicely quilted. Measures 62" x 64".
