Gold and pearl choker necklace by Betty Cooke. Ninety six year old Betty Cooke is considered one of the icons of the Modernist studio jewelry movement. Her work is in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art; Museum of Arts and Design and the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. The necklace alternates groups of pearls with 14 karat gold tubing. The gold disc fits in a larger open circle as both a design element and the closure. The necklace measures 16 inches in length.

This unusual Tane necklace is made of circular links that terminate with round balls. They are strung on a rubber cord measuring 17 inches long. It has a magnetic clasp with a safety loop. Fourteen karat gold dangle earrings by Betty Cooke. The circles are 7/8" in diameter. Each has a half gloss finish and half satin. The circles are suspended on a 1 1/8" wire for pierced ears. Sold in a box with Betty's signature. Ninety six year old Betty Cooke is considered one of the icons of the Modernist studio jewelry movement. Interesting sterling silver links necklace by New York jeweler, Frank Miraglia. It is signed "Miraglia Sterling Modern". Four hinged links surround a central pendant with a round gray glass stone. The plaque measures 1 1/2 inches tall and 2 1/8 inches at the widest. It is 9 1/2 inches in length from the clasp to the bottom of the pendant. Condition is excellent; made 1950's.

William Spratling Sterling Silver and Amethyst Bracelet   $3,400  

Rare, early sterling with amethyst bracelet by silver master, William Spratling. The bracelet has a raised, striated silver design throughout that terminates with two pear shaped cabochon amethysts. On either side of them are three graduated size round amethysts. The bracelet is hinged and has a pin closure. Maker's mark dates it to the period between 1940 - 1946. Chic and playful rubber and sterling silver bangle bracelet by Tane. The core of the bracelet is rubber that is completely covered with sterling silver dots. The combination of silver with the black is quite striking. The interior diameter of the bracelet is 2 1/2 inches. It fits a medium wrist. Made circa 1960's. The bracelet weighs a substantial 94 grams.
