Emilia Castillo Wood and Silver Box   $735   

This unusual wood and silver box by Emilia Castillo is one of her early pieces, done when she signed her work with both Mimi and Los Castillo. It measures 8 1/2" wide x 6 1/2" deep and 2 1/8" tall including the bracket feet. A bird on a branch surrounded by heart shaped leaves is painted in pure silver on ceramic. The box is richly colored ebony. It is in excellent condition; made circa 1990.

This mixed metals (aka metales casados or married metals) fish brooch is done with the technique made famous by Los Castillo. It measures 2 1/8" from head to tail and 2 3/8" from the top to bottom of the fins. Hallmark dates from 1948 - 1960. Very good condition.

Charming sterling silver cufflinks for the male or female sailor. They cleverly convey the boats and water while reducing them to their most basic elements. The boat and water are applied on an oxidized ground. Measurements are 15/16" square. Made of sterling silver; circa 1950.

Tiffany 18 karat gold bracelet with undulating bands of blue and green enamel. The bracelet is intricately made and a substantial weight. Measurements are 7 1/4" wearable length and 7/16" wide. It has a nice clasp with two safety catches.

William Spratling Covered Serving Dish

This elegant covered serving dish by silver master William Spratling is as rare as it is beautiful. The hallmarks are from the 1940's; condition is excellent. Measurements are 11 1/2" wide to the end of handles; 2 1/4" tall and 7" deep. Hand hammer marks are evident on the inside while smooth on the outside.

Elegant silver ladle with an ebony handle by silver master, William Spratling. The inside of the bowl shows the hand hammer marks. It measures 3 1/2" wide to the pouring lip. The handle is 10" long. Excellent condition; 1940's hallmark.

Substantial size 18 karat gold earrings with three ribs centered with a pear shaped emerald and surrounded by 6 round diamonds. Omega backs. Maker's mark JDI. Measurements are 1" long and 5/8" wide.

William Spratling Earrings: Circa 1960   $1,075  

These large earrings by silver master William Spratling are most unusual. Oval obsidian discs are below the silver swirl with an obsidian ball on top. They measure 1 1/8" wide x 1 5/8" tall. 1960's hallmark. They are from the widow of silversmith Allan Adler.

This rope twisted 18 karat gold necklace is centered with an oval medallion of a cabochon sapphire and 5 diagonal rows of diamonds. The medallion measures 3/4" wide x 3/8" tall. The necklace is 15 1/2" in length. Signed VCA France. Made in the 1970's.
