Sterling silver belt buckle by silver master, William Spratling. It is equally suitable for a man or woman. The buckle is 2 1/4 inches x 1 inch. It requires a 3/4 inch wide strap. The belt has Spratling's 1940's hallmark and is in excellent condition.

Very stylish and unusual bracelet by Tane, Mexico's answer to the elegant work of Tiffany. The bracelet has hinged links that create an oval over which are elongated triangles of gold vermeil. The links are 3/4" wide; the bracelet is 7 1/4" long and weighs a hefty 99 grams. It has been professionally polished and is in excellent condition. Made circa 1980.

Kieselstein Cord Sterling Silver Earrings   $585  

Stylish sterling silver earrings by Barry Kieselstein Cord. They measure 7/8" to a side and are wonderfully three dimensional as the interior square is raised about 1/8". Backs are clips and posts. The posts can easily be removed to be worn as clips. Maker's mark and date are visible in last thumbnail photo along inside rim. Dated 1996.

Mabe pearl and gold asymmetrical ring by modernist designer, Betty Cooke. The ring has a gray mabe pearl with mauve undertones that measures 17.3 mm in diameter. The pearl is set off center with an open, adjustable shank. The ring is size 7 but can easily be modified.

Ronald Hayes Pearson (1924 -96) is considered one of this country's most influential figures in metalsmithing. He regarded precious metals as plastic substances to be stretched or elongated into simple, elegant forms. This 14 karat gold brooch with a turquoise stone clearly reflects that philosophy. The gold is twisted to two different planes . The brooch measures 2 inches wide x 1 3/16 inches tall, although it can be worn in any direction.

Sterling silver brooch by Matilde Poulat who worked under the name Matl. In it, she utilized her three favorite stones of amethyst; turquoise and coral. Several of the turquoise stones have cracks but are intact. Measurements are 1 3/4 inches in height and width. Made circa 1950's.

Freeform scribble brooch of sterling silver made by famed American designer, Angela Cummings. The brooch is dated 1987. It measures 2 inches wide and 1 3/4 inches tall. The silver squiggles are intertwined with space between them giving dimensionality to the brooch.

Sterling Silver Jungle Animal Sculptures   $875  

Five sterling silver jungle animal sculptures that are well textured and detailed. Largest of the group is the elephant that measures 2 5/16" tall and 4 1/4" from tail to trunk. He may have been done by a different maker than the rest of the group as he is considerably heavier and does not have a maker's mark as the others do (although it is undecipherable). Sterling silver box by master William G. Matteo (1895 - 1980). Examples of DeMatteo's work are in the collections of the Dallas Museum of Art and the Houston Museum of Fine Arts. For a time, DeMatteo produced much of the hollowware for Georg Jensen, whose influence can be clearly seen in the graceful lily atop this box.
