Finely appliqued Album Quilt from Harford County, Maryland. Wonderful integration of traditional and original patterns. Quilted in cross hatch pattern with extremely tiny stitches. Original, exuberant border. Pristine condition; professionally laundered. Family name available to purchaser. Harford County is just north of Baltimore, seat of the finest, most desirable mid-19th century album quilts. Measures 84" square; circa 1860.

The design is believed to have been inspired by the roof tiles of Taxco where Antonio lives and works. Excellent condition. Truly a rare masterpiece.

Touching Stars Quilt with outstanding quilting. Different floral patterns are quilted in the nine white blocks. The left and right sides match; additional patterns go down the center row. Beautiful, not often seen printed blue/gray fabric throughout. Appliqued triangle border provides a good frame for this airy pattern. Professionally laundered; pristine condition. A small area of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania is known for their postage stamp star quilts. This is a variation in which the light and dark blocks form a Monkey Wrench pattern. It is made even more unusual by the lattice center. Terrific use of lights and darks using many late 19th century printed fabrics. Excellent, probably unwashed condition. Measures 84" square; circa 1880. Lancaster County, Pennsylvania origin.
