Hector Aguilar sterling silver Armadillo necklace on velvet. Fabric is frayed in one spot but original. Could easily be mended or replaced but I preferred keeping this piece exactly as it came out of an estate. Smooth front with hand hammering visible on the back. Measures 17" in length; largest disc is 1 5/8"tall and 1 7/16" at widest. This design was copied by others but originated with Aguilar. 1943 - 48 hallmark

It is difficult to find superlatives adequate to describe this amazing sterling silver water pitcher by Hector Aguilar. The form is perfectly proportioned. The handle is brilliantly conceived and executed as a leaf (to keep in the ice) with a curved stem handle. Pristine condition. Measures 8 1/2" tall; circa 1950. Truly a silver masterpiece.

Eighteen karat gold dog brooch made by Tiffany; circa 1960. The pooch's moist nose is effectively created with clustered diamonds. Rubies form the eyes and embellish the long ears. Heavy weight; wonderfully designed. Pristine condition. Measures 1 1/2" wide and 1 3/4" tall.
