| Wandering Foot Quilt: Circa 1880; Pennsylvania SOLD |
This original pattern quilt is most like Wandering Foot (aka Turkey Tracks). The maker, though, abutted the blocks to one another creating an entirely new set of patterns with much of the positive/negative effect of Robbing Peter to Pay Paul. Corner blocks are enlarged versions of the interior shapes. Excellent condition; nicely quilted. Measures 74" x 76; Pennsylvania origin. Circa 1880.
