Unusual octagonal enamel with sterling picture frame by Cartier. Enamel is more of a rich cobalt shade of blue than may show on the monitor. Oval inset measures 2 1/2" in length. Outside dimensions of frame are 2 5/8" x 3 9/16". Excellent condition. Made in Italy; circa 1920.
Unusual, if not unique, box by Los Castillo with a finely detailed musical theme. Lid is inlaid brass, turquoise, onyx and silver on silver plate; box is wood, most likely ebony. Measures 2" tall; 7 3/8" wide and 4 1/4" deep. Excellent condition; circa 1950.
